Air Flow & Air Velocity:
The air velocity in the duct must be carefully considered as it affects the system's vibration and noise. Choose the appropriate velocity depending on the type of duct being calculated (main duct, branch duct).
Pressure Loss (Pa/m):
Pressure loss directly affects the fan's pressure head. The default value is 1 Pa/m, but it can be adjusted according to requirements (typically from 0.8 to 1.2 Pa/m).
Duct Height (mm):
Only enter this when calculating for a rectangular duct. If left empty, the system will calculate for a circular duct. In practice, the height of the duct should be limited to leave room for other systems to pass over or under the duct.
